Gordon Avery Obituary
Mr. Gordon Avery of Oxbow passed away peacefully at the Galloway Health Centre, Oxbow, SK. on Sunday, May 14, 2023 at the age of 73.
Gordon is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Donna (Reid); four children: Scott, Krista (Darcy Barath), Patty, and Michelle; four grandchildren: Tiffany and Cody Barath, Alexa and Austin Leask; three grandpups, Mocha, Jasper and Mazey; siblings: Les (Betty) Avery, Grace Kuntz, Cecil Avery (Joyce Travis), Doreen Cunningham and Barry (Vanda) Avery; mother-in-law, Gladys Reid; sisters-in-law: Eleanor (Gus) Hodgson, Diane Millar (Glenn Zimmerman) and Debbie Reid; brothers-in-law: Don Bzdell, Ken Reid and Dennis Reid. Gordon is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Gordon was predeceased by his parents, Cyril and Elsie Avery; father-in-law, James Reid; brothers, Grant and Calvin Avery; sister, Marilyn Bzdell; brothers-in-law, Leland Cunningham, Joe Kuntz, Clayton Millar; sisters-in-law, Kathy and Norma Avery; and nephews, Curtis and Hudson.
The celebration of Gordon's life was held at New Hope Christian Church, Oxbow, SK. on Monday, June 26, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Mrs. Sandy Dalziel officiating.
