Gwen Doreen (Cooper) Jones

Mrs. Gwen Jones of Reston passed away at the Reston and District Health Centre on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at the age of 85.

Gwen leaves to mourn six children and their spouses; seventeen grandchildren and their spouses; forty great-grandchildren; two sisters and three brothers and their spouses; numerous nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

Children: Donna (Vern) Cook, Gail Irwin, Linda (Trev) Williamson, Kevin (Donnalee) Jones, Karen (Tim) Reid, and Cheryl (Matthew) Klassen.

Grandchildren: Darla (Darren) Zarn, Dallas (Carla) Cook, Ryan (Mel) Cook, Tashia (Jeff) Way; Monica (Mike) Miller, Deanna (Mike) Chala, Dick (Vicki) Irwin, Bobbi-Jo (Nick) Guffei; Jeanna (Brett) Betcher; Derek (Tamara) Williamson, Marla (Kyle) Williamson; Jeff Jones; Tracey (Clayton) Francis; Tyler Reid, Alyssa Reid; Corey (Ashley) Klassen, Rachelle (Junior) Klassen.

Great-Grandchildren: Ciara, Carleigh and Cody Zarn; Presley, Harley and Declan Cook; Ally, Kayla, Carter and Lane Cook and Davey and Ben Couvier; Shaleigh, Kilynne and Brielle Way; Bridgette, Reese and Katie Miller; Brady and Raina Chala; Rowdy and Brooks Irwin; Haley and Luciano Guffei; Paisley Betcher; Aiden, Kalia and Winston Williamson; Chelsea, Cole and Ashley Warkentin and Jace and Logan Lowe; Jace Jones; Emma and Gracie Francis; Sophie and Arlie Klassen and Jeremiah and Trevelle Frater.

Siblings: Allen Cooper, Margaret Esposito, Betty-Ann Bateman, Robert Cooper, and Danny Cooper.

Gwen was predeceased by her husband and love of her life, Newton Jones in 2007; parents, Mildred and Frank Cooper; parents-in-law, Jean and Cecil Jones; son-in-law, Lynn Irwin; great-grandson, Rowan Irwin; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Betty and Lloyd Spence; siblings, Eleanor Enns, Doug Cooper, John Cooper, Ron Cooper, Stan Cooper, Keith Cooper and Sharon Davidson.

The funeral service was held at the Reston United Church on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with Mrs. Linda Clark officiating. Interment followed at the Reston Cemetery.
