Heather Lauraine (Morrison) Lovegrove

May 17, 1944 ~ July 6, 2021 (age 77) 77 Years Old

Mrs. Heather Lovegrove (Morrison) was born in May of 1944, at Winnipeg, to her loving parents, Andrew and Laura (Maher) Morrison.  She was the middle child, growing up at 997 Valour Road with older brother, Bruce and younger sister, Dianne.

Heather attended Isaac Brock School and Daniel McIntyre Collegiate, where she was a track star, specializing in high jump, sprints and hurdles.  She was awarded for her record of ‘Perfect Attendance’, never missing a day of school from Grades 1-12.

After completing her university studies and teaching for a year, she married and settled in Boissevain where she had her children, James (1968) and Laura (1970).

She was a proud mother, watching James act in numerous plays and musicals and supporting Laura in her various sporting endeavours.

Heather had a beautiful singing voice and was part of many school, community and church choirs.

She was skilled with numbers, working in accounting, and a brilliant resource for spelling, grammar and trivia.

Heather treasured her annual vacation at Victoria Beach, enjoying countless sun-kissed days with family and friends.

She was thrilled by the arrival of her grandsons, Cole (2006) and Nate (2008), loving to join any game they wanted to play or place they wanted to go.

For close to 25 years she shared her life with her love, Jeff Lovegrove, becoming husband and wife in 2006.  After retirement, she moved out to the farm they shared near Coulter.  She took joy in the rhythm of life in the country and caring for her cats.

Forever remembered by her son, James Warnez; daughter, Laura Baraniuk, son-in-law, Randy; grandsons, Cole and Nate; brother, Bruce Morrison; sister-in-law, Fay; sister, Dianne Pollreis; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Heather is now reunited with her husband, Jeff Lovegrove; parents, Andrew and Laura Morrison; and brother-in-law, Gord Pollreis.

No formal funeral service will be held.

Donations in memory of Heather may be given to Parkinson Canada, 316-4211 Yonge St. Toronto, ON. M2P 2A9
