Mrs. Helen Kosior of Estevan, formerly of Carlyle and Oxbow, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital, Estevan on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at the age of 90.
Helen is survived by her four children: Randy Kosior (Diana), Bob Kosior (Jackie), Don Kosior (Charlene) and Jackie Grusie (Jeff); grandchildren: Renise Poll (Stephen), Mitchell Kosior (Jenna), Mark Kosior (Ashley), Spencer Kosior (Jayd), Brandy Zepp (Kaleb Barkie), Bryan Zepp (Gabby), Lindsay Morin (Jordan), Scott Kosior, Brady Kosior (Katie Murray), Brody Liesch (Serena), Heather Fleck (Denny), Josh Kosior (Andrea), Landon Kosior (Alycia), Brody Kosior (Shayla Tosh), Taylor Ogilvie (Devin), Michelle Grusie (Josh Cachene-Clark); great-grandkids: Isaac Poll, Orsen Poll, Priya Poll, Beckett Kosior, Kolson Kosior, Carter Kosior, Parker Kosior, Archer Kosior, Anniston Kosior, Winslow Kosior, Jade Zepp, Maya Morin, Marshall Morin, River Kosior, Brian Liesch, Saffren Allen, Cooper Fleck, Marek Kosior, Parks Kosior and Tripp Kosior; brother, Harry Slawnyk (Jane); sisters-in-law, Thelma Kosior and Sharon Kosior.
She was predeceased by her parents, John and Victoria Slawnyk; husband, Dell Kosior; sister, Nancy Hans (Larry) and grandson, Ryan Liesch. She was also predeceased by in-laws: Edwin Kosior, Willie & Ivadelle Kosior, Ted & Gloria Kosior and Alex Kosior.
The Funeral Mass for Helen will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Oxbow, SK. on Friday, June 19, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Father Thuy Nguyen as Celebrant. Interment will follow at the Oxbow Cemetery. A time of fellowship will then be held at the Oxbow Friendship Centre.
