Hugh Rowe Obituary

Mr. Howard “Hugh” Rowe of Reston, MB. passed away peacefully at the Willowview Personal Care Home on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at the age of 87.

Hugh was predeceased by his parents, Howard and Gertrude “Edna” (Woodman) Rowe; brothers, Wayne and Clayton.

He is survived by his wife, Beatrice (Wilkins) Rowe of Reston; son, Harvey (Priscilla) Rowe of Phoenix, Arizona; sister, Carol (Dale) Barlow of Davidson, SK.; sister-in-law, Jeannine Rowe of Humboldt, SK.; brother-in-law, Don (Nancy) Wilkins of Girvin, SK.; grandchildren: Stephanie Robinson (Chris) of Winnipeg, Hayden Rowe (Jocelyn Pietrasz) of Kelowna, Drs. Darius (Maria) Rowe of Columbus, Ohio, and Phoenicia Rowe of Chandler, Arizona; great-grandchildren: Keira, Samantha, Peyton, Nyla Robinson of Winnipeg and Holdyn and Silas Rowe of Kelowna; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A public memorial service was held at the R.E.S. Centre, Reston, MB. on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with Mrs. Joyce Marsh officiating. A private family interment took place at the Reston Cemetery later in the day.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Hugh can be directed to the Reston & Area Foundation, Box 99, Reston, MB. R0M 1X0.
