Mrs. Irene McKinny of Estevan, formerly of Melita, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital, Estevan, SK. on Friday, July 10, 2026 at the age of 88.

Irene is survived by her son, Larry (Cathy) McKinny and his children, Scott McKinny and Hayden (Melissa) McKinny; son, Brent McKinny (Lisa Mario) and his children, Kayla (Jay) McKinny (son Chace McKinny), Courtney (Tyler) Wise (daughter Xena), Durell (Max) Shevchenko and Nigel McKinny; daughter, Jo-Ann (David) Rogers and their children, Kara (Jeff) Anderson (sons Ryker, Hudson and Leo) and Cody Rogers; sisters-in-law, Ellen Kennedy and Roberta Pawloski; brother-in-law, Leonard Pawloski.

She was predeceased by her husband, Jack in 2007; brothers, Donald and Gordon; parents, Jim & Laura Currie; infant granddaughter, Sydney; as well as brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

The funeral service for Irene was held at Redpath Funeral Home, 21 Main Street North, Melita, MB. on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Interment followed at the Melita Cemetery.
