Irene Opdahl Obituary
Mrs. Irene Opdahl of Oxbow passed away peacefully at the Galloway Health Centre on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026 at the age of 79.
Irene is survived by daughter, Sonya (Keith) Bowey and their sons, Daniel (Angela) (children, Harley, Hunter and Haisley), Andrew (Cassandra) (children, Brielle and Alaina), Matthew (Danielle) (children, Emerson, Ellie and Everly) and Joshua (Bailey); daughter, Shelley Opdahl and her children, Shania (Bryce), Jonathan and Declan; son, Tim Opdahl; two sisters, Jean White and Lois Sugai; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Annie Peebles; an infant son; siblings, William, Joseph, James, John, Daniel, Elizabeth and Rose; son-in-law, Doug Brock; numerous brothers and sisters-in-law.
A graveside service at the Glen Ewen Cemetery will be held at a later date.
