Isabel Glennie of Regina died at her home on Tuesday, October 29, 2024.
She was born August 26, 1932 in Carnduff, Saskatchewan to Isabel and George Glennie.
Isabel was predeceased by her parents, Isabel and George Glennie and her seven brothers and sisters, Gordon, Joseph, Douglas, Keith, Ellen (Hockley), Betty (Tradewell) and Margaret (Bugaresti).
She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Laura Glennie of Regina (Keith) and Mabel Glennie of Carnduff (Joseph), and eighteen caring nieces and nephews as well as many great nieces and nephews. Isabel attended Wheatland School for grades 1-8 and Carnduff High School for grades 9-12. She boarded at three different homes while attending high school. Isabel excelled in chemistry and after graduation found employment in the chemistry lab at St. Paul's Hospital, Saskatoon. When she retired as head of the chemistry lab Isabel moved to Regina. Isabel was a favourite aunt and family was very important to her. She took great pleasure in sharing family photos and stories with her nieces and nephews. Is was passionate about reading, cats and sports and was an avid Roughriders fan. Her good friends shared and supported Is's passions. Is was fiercely independent and fit. She maintained a vigorous walking schedule until a health condition in her last year of life limited her endurance.

A public funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at St. Andrew's United Church, Carnduff with Rev. Jackie van't Voort officiating. A lunch followed. The interment at Carnduff Cemetery (Row 61) took place prior to the funeral service at 1:00 p.m.
A private celebration of life will be held in Regina for friends and family at a later date.
