Mrs. Jackie Middleton of Melita and formerly of Pierson, passed away at the Melita Personal Care Home on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at the age of 92.
She was predeceased by her parents, James and Kathleen Richardson; step-father, Robert H. Sturch; husband, Robert Claire “Bob” Shannon; sisters, Aileen Klein, Margaret Kelly, and Barb Sifton; brother, Glen Richardson; second husband, Allan Edward “Ted” Middleton.
Jackie is survived by three children: daughter, Brenda (Don) Flamme of Carievale and their three children, Jodi (Doug) Erickson (children, Kaycee and Rylee), Scott Flamme (partner, Chris) (and Scott’s son, Matthew), Derek (Jackie) Flamme (children, Cale and Maelie); daughter, Fran Reibin (partner, Doug Hancock) of Flin Flon and Fran’s children, Carsey (Selina) Reibin (children, Audrey, Xavier, Eli, Max, and Ronin), Cory (Rhonda) Reibin (children, Emmett, Oakland, and Harlowe); son, Monty (Lee) Shannon of Medicine Hat and Lee’s children, Jason (his daughter, Jaylin) and Michelle (partner, Dave) (children, Merek, Bryleigh and Hayven); and sister, Jean Cook.
A funeral service for Jackie was held at the Pierson Community Hall, Pierson, MB on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Fr. Matt Koovisk officiating. A private interment took place at the Melita Cemetery.
