Jean McDougald Obituary

Mrs. Jean McDougald of Carnduff, formerly of Carievale, passed away at the Sunset Haven, Carnduff on Monday, May 9, 2022 at the age of 98.

She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph, parents, Stanley & Isabella (Samis) Gilmer; brother, Reg (Gertie) Gilmer; sister, Helen (Arnold) Gilliland.

Jean is survived by her two children: son, Stan (Diane) of Carievale and daughter, Elaine (Tom) Hill of Carievale; four grandchildren: Regan (Travis) McDougald-Cowan [Ireland, Wynter, Sailor & Scout], Derek (April) McDougald [Bodhi & Keagan], Stacey (Kirk) Miner [Lauren & Nic], and Trevor (Eileena) Hill.

A service to celebrate Jean's life was held at the Carievale United Church, Carievale, SK. on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Rob Reed officiating. Interment at the Workman Cemetery will take place at a later date.

Donations may be directed to the Carievale United Church, Box 29, Carievale, SK. S0C 0P0 or to the Workman Cemetery Memorial Fund, Box 1, Carievale, SK. S0C 0P0.
