John Edward Young

Mr. John Young of Carnduff passed away peacefully at the Pasqua Hospital, Regina on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at the age of 72.

John is survived by his wife of 50 years, Cheryl (Levesque) Young; children, Trina (Joe) Barber of Carnduff, and their children, Chasity (Nicholas) Oukrop, Natalie, Cort, and Brandt; Lana (Kelly) Avery of Ponoka, AB, and their children, McKenna and Braelyn; Amanda (Tom) Witty of Sylvan Lake, AB, and their children, Reese, Jake, and Madden; Amy (Allan) Dreichel of Millet, AB, and their children, Weston and Sawyer; and Cory (Dee) Franklin of Carnduff, and their children, Harlee, Seth, Willow and Londyn; siblings, Shirley Hamilton of Regina, Jessie Beaudoin of Moose Jaw, Cathy Finkle of Carievale, Anne Williams of Weyburn, and Alfred (Bev) Young of Valleyview, AB; sisters-in-law, Arlene (Trent) Pickard of White City, Linda (Leo) Carriere of Saskatoon, Trudy (Barry) Murray of Melita, and Marj (David) Widenmaier of Carnduff.

John was predeceased by his parents, James and Edith Young; siblings, Bob (Geraldine) Young, Dick (Hazel) Young, and Ethel (Clarence) Irwin; brothers-in-law, Murray Hamilton, Rod Beaudoin, John Finkle, and Murray Williams; father-in-law, Adelard Levesque; mother-in-law, Eleanor Acorn; and brother-in-law, Carey Levesque.

A public celebration of John's life was held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Carnduff, SK. on Monday, September 15, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. with Mrs. Sandy Dalziel officiating. A lunch followed. A private family interment at the Carnduff Cemetery took place earlier in the day.
