On behalf of The Hobbs Family we would like to express our deep condolences. The house in Gainsborough was a safe and healing house for anyone who needed help, both in Jack's time there and in my Father's (Dr. Hobbs) time there. May they both rest in peace after all the help and compassion they showed to their fellow man. Amen, thank you Jesus for these men.

We are so sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. We just found out today. Our kids remember fondly those days at the farm with Grandpa Jack stopping by or with them getting to drive or ride on one of his creations. Our deepest sympathies.

To the Willis and Cousin Families. Jack was a wonderful friend and mentor to me. He had some amazing wisdom that he had acquired throughout life and through the AA program.
He was a caregiver by nature; he cared for Ruth when she became ill and when she had passed away he took on caring for Erin. Jack was a bright light for him and took him on many excursions and trips to the coffee shop, until Jack's health started to decline..
Jack cared for all that he met and offered guidance, encouragement and a friend. He made everyone feel as if they were important and had nothing but time to offer them.. He was a wonderful man and will be truly missed.

Thank you for allowing us to be with you via the livestream of Jack's service today. It was a great tribute to a wonderful man. We have missed seeing Jack in the pews since his illness
and are heartbroken to know he is gone. By his humble actions and his kind way, Jack inspires me to be a better person. Hugs to you all in your time of sorrow..

So sad that we had to loose such a warm, kind, and incredibly humorous person, the kind of person that helps make living in this COVID19 world just a bit more bearable. Our hearts go out to his family, you'll be remembered Uncle Jack!

Thinking of you all as you lay this beautiful man to rest today. Jack took us under his wing and guided us through some "tough stuff" at a time when we needed it. We already miss his presence in our neighbourhood.

Our Sincere Sympathy to All of Jacks Family. We met Jack & Ruth in 1995, I never seen Jack without his wonderful friendly smile. They both had all the time in the world to visit. They were very caring and sharing people. I think all who knew Jack will miss him just as your Family will miss him. Let God carry you thru these very difficult days, and cherish all the good memories forever, where ever your journey leads you. Clayton and Sandy Hedstrom
