Mrs. Joyce Wilson of Oxbow, SK, passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side at the Galloway Health Centre on Friday, July 3, 2026, at the age of 96.

Joyce is survived by her daughters, Deanna and Marlis; sister-in-law, Dot Young; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Allen, in 2024; her parents, Wilfred and Ethel (Wood) Glaspey; in-laws, George and Bertha (Needham) Wilson; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Bill Jackson; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Marlene Glaspey; brother-in-law, Howard Young; niece, Nancy Jackson.

A public celebration of Joyce's life was held at the Oxbow Friendship Centre, Oxbow, SK. on Friday, July 10, 2026 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Jackie van’t Voort officiating. 

A private family interment at the Oxbow Cemetery preceded the public celebration at the Friendship Centre.

In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, donations in memory of Joyce can be directed to the Bow Valley Villa, Box 207, Oxbow, SK, S0C 2B0.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to all the staff at the Bow Valley Villa, Gainsborough Health Centre and the Galloway Heath Centre.
