Kenneth James Lee

Mr. Ken Lee of Melita and formerly of Pierson passed away at the Melita PCH on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at the age of 98 years.

He was predeceased by his wife of 71 years, Della (Billings) d.18; sister, Jean Sterling; brothers, Gordon Lee and Allan Lee; brothers-in-law, Pat Sterling and Art Tucker; as well as numerous loved ones of his extended Lee and Billings families.

Ken is survived by his four children: Brian (Shannon); Beth Smith (Paul) and their children – Stephen & Jennifer (Donovan); Sharon Penner (Paul) and their children – April & Justin (Brenda); and Joyce Davies (Murray) and their children – Brock (Breena), Jared & JaysaLee; he is also survived by eight great-grandchildren: Sadie & Tom, Beth, Kate & David, Julian & Francis and Kesler; sister, Gwen Tucker; two sisters-in-law, Joyce Lee and Barbara Lee; also numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held at the Pierson Community Hall, Pierson, MB. on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Paul Kimball officiating. Burial took place at the Pierson Cemetery.

Dad celebrated life throughout his 98 years.  He enjoyed farming, community life and the people in the community, his family, his church family and his personal Faith in God. In Dad's own words... "I've loved life... even with all the hard work... I've enjoyed life". Dad passed away peacefully with family by his side.
