Lois Carr Obituary

Mrs. Lois Carr of Melita passed away at the Deloraine Health Centre, Deloraine, MB. on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at the age of 98.

She was predeceased by her parents, Sam & Sarah Fonger; husband, Jock and son, John Carr.

Lois is survived by her daughter, Trudy (Butch) and their children, Mike (Trista), Marlin (Rhonda) and Marty (Candice); son, Doug and children, Lori and Jason; daughter, Sheila (Don) and children, Tammy (Dean), Karen, Donavon (Kim); late son, John’s children, Courtney and Murray (Kerri); son, Pat (Leanne) and children, Patrena, John, April, Crystal, Olivia and Roman; daughter, Judy (Danny) and their son, Adam; twenty five great-grandchildren, Madex, Jed, Chloe, Journey, Mylen, Rylee, Sayla, Kennedy, Dillon, Danielle, Chandler, Sara, Aliya, Brea, Tori, Deacon, Jordan, Reece, Cole, Brooke, Abbigayl, Kaylee, Keaton, Kenzee, and Harlow; great-great-granddaughter, Aerilynn Rose.

A private family funeral service took place on Saturday, January 14, 2023. Interment followed at the Melita Cemetery.

Donations may be given to the Melita Palliative Care Fund, Box 459, Melita, MB. R0M 1L0, Melita Museum, Napinka Museum, or to a charity of your choice.
