I love the picture you have on the obituary as that is exactly how I will remember Aunty Maisie... always a wonderful laugh! She will always hold a special spot in my heart . Aunty Doris and Aunty Maisie were so wonderful to their sister, my Grandmother Violet and to all their family.. Making trips out to see the Foam Lake family very often. I always loved to visit Aunty Maisie on the phone. she sounded so much like my Grandma Vi that is brought comfort to me to hear her voice after Grandma passed. Rob and I send our condolences to all Aunty Maisie's family and friends. I know she was loved by many and will be missed. All our love. xo

So many happy memories; so much sadness with the loss of all that smile held. Remembering how much fun she and her sisters had in the theme room at the WEM hotel --how they laughed about the hot tub in the room! At dad's funeral, she shared her memory of dad rescuing her when she was stuck in the pram with the ice cracking beneath her. My thoughts are with you as you grieve.

When I lived in MB I really enjoyed spending hours with Maisie playing scrabble. She was inevitably the winner, at least 90% of the time! Sharp as a whip. Always interested in people, playing cards, sharing meals. Great sense of humour, bright smile, zest for life, independence. Missed her when moved away to BC. Will always remember her.

To the Wight Family, my deepest condolences in the loss of your mother, your mom was a wonderful lady.. I sat beside her at one of Napinka’s fall suppers a number of years ago and we had a lovely chat. I did run into her a few times when I was down home over the years. It was so nice to see her.
