Margaret (Lester) Ratcliffe

Mrs. Margaret Ratcliffe of Reston, MB. passed away at the Reston Health Centre on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at the age of 97.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Colleen (Bob) Rootsaert of San Jose, California and their children: Keith (Leslie), Allison (John), Kyle (Linda), and Michelle (Greg); son, Jim Ratcliffe of Pontypool, Ontario and children: Bruce, Christie (James), Shaun (Dana), and Joel; daughter, Barb (Allan) Halls of Reston, Manitoba and their children: Annette (Tariq), Craig (Colleen), and Neil (Michelle); twenty-one great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Jim; grandson-in-law, Drew Brislen; parents, Alfred and Mary Lester; in-laws, James and Annie Ratcliffe; seven brothers and one sister and their spouses; Jim's two sisters and their spouses. Since Margaret’s passing, her daughter-in-law, Fran Ratcliffe has passed away.

A public graveside funeral service was held at the Tilston Cemetery, Tilston, MB. on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. with Mr. Manson Moir officiating. A time of lunch and fellowship followed at the Reston Golf Course Clubhouse.
