Melanie Oakley (née Muir) of Winnipeg, MB. passed away peacefully at the St. Boniface Hospital on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at the age of 58.
She was predeceased by her father, David Muir.
Melanie is survived by her mother, Sharon Muir; children, Tyrone Oakley, Georgianna Oakley, and Genevieve Oakley. She also leaves her brothers, Randy (Koreen) Muir, Kerry (Leanne) Muir, Dallas (Melvenia) Muir, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
A service to celebrate Melanie's life was held at the Gospel Hall (south of Glen Ewen, SK.) on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Paul Kimball officiating. The interment followed at the Meridian Cemetery.
