Melba Snyder Obituary
Mrs. Melba Doreen (Wood) Snyder of Brandon and formerly of Melita, passed away at the Fairview Home on Friday, August 15, 2025 at the age of 87.
She was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Rachel (Desender) Wood; brother, David Wood; brother-in-law, Cliff Snyder and sister-in-law, Lois Snyder; brother-in-law, Bill Russell and nephew, Ken Snyder.
Melba is survived by her husband of 68 years, Clark Snyder; son, Blaine (Sue) Snyder and their children, Emily Snyder (Ryan) and Marty Snyder (Carly); son, Darren (Marcia) Snyder and their children, Erica (Foster) Whyte and Natalie (Corbin) Libbrecht; great-grandchildren, Charlie and Maisie Whyte; sister, Diann (Trent) Young and sister-in-law, Gail Wood; brothers and sisters-in-law: Ron (Marie) Snyder, Peter (Lois) Snyder, Frank (Christine) Snyder, and Bev Russell; also numerous nieces and nephews.
A private family graveside service took place at the Melita Cemetery.
Friends joined the Snyder family for a time of refreshments and fellowship on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at the Melita Legion Hall (Main Street).
