Michael "Mike" Bartolf

Mr. Michael Bartolf, of Oxbow, SK, passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Estevan, SK, on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at the age of 95.

He was predeceased by his wife, Ruth (Sauskojus); parents, Johann & Maria (Hedrich); sister, Mary (Fred) Henger; four brothers, John, Henry (Linda Tetzlaff), Adam (Evelyn Thompson), and Frederick (Nina Johnson); sister-in-law, Anna (Dwane) McIlroy; two brothers-in-law, Walter (Eleanor) Sauskojus and Gerhardt (Gerane) Sauskojus; nephew, Bill Bartolf; and niece, Susan Kroll.

Michael is survived by his son, David; brother-in-law, Karl (Becky) Sauskojus; nephew, Nick Henger and nieces, Linda Muchanski and Betty Henger (children of Mary); nephews, Dennis (Wendy) Bartolf and Garry (Gisele) Bartolf and Elaine (Reg) Peet (children of Henry); niece, Teresa (daughter of Adam); nephew and godson, Rod Bartolf and nieces, Lori Muz and Christina Mctaggart (children of Frederick); nieces, Charlotte Runner, Ruth Kronfuss, and Kathryn Marks and nephews, Dean Sauskojus, Kenneth Sauskojus, and James Sauskojus (children of Walter); nephews, Jason Sauskojus, Jesse Sauskojus, and Jeremy Sauskojus (sons of Gerhardt); nieces, Nancy Schott and Joanne Tubman and nephews, David Sauskojus and Mark Sauskojus (children of Karl); and nieces, Marion Mattern and Marlene Jekel and nephews, David McIlroy, Steven McIlroy, and Paul McIlroy (children of Anna).

A service to celebrate Mike’s life was held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Peter Lutheran Church, Oxbow, SK., with Pastor Adrian Kramer officiating. Interment followed at the Oxbow Cemetery.
