Muriel Elizabeth (Murray) Chester

Mrs. Muriel Chester of Carnduff and formerly of Carievale passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at the age of 78.

She was predeceased by the love of her life, Maurice; parents, Richard and Lydia Murray; brother, Gordon Murray and sister, Donna Murray; father and mother-in-law, Roger and Beatrice Chester; sister-in-law, Melba Taylor and brother-in-law, Len Taylor.

Muriel is survived by her two children and their families: son, Jay (Donna) Chester, their daughter, Krista (Stephen) and daughter, Brenda (John) Ryckman and their children, Jessica (Tommy) Rawn (Elizabeth, Sidney, and Hannah) and Cody Ryckman; sister-in-law, Myra Murray and her family Bob (Christal) and Alann (James); aunt, Velma Campbell and her family Harvey (Diane) Campbell, Leona (Gordie) Bevan, Clarence (Donna) Campbell, Beverley (Gerald) Penno and family, Howard (Debbie) Taylor and family, Shirley (Brian) Marshall and family, Nancy (Wayne) Elton and Family, Gerry Taylor and Family; our second family growing up always included Johnny and Kae Henderson and there children Susan (Allen) Kuhlmann, Harold (Della) Henderson, Janet (Brian) Kobasa, and Allan Henderson.

A service to celebrate Muriel’s life was held on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the Carievale United Church, Carievale, SK., with Reverend Kathy Kyle officiating. Interment followed at the Carievale Cemetery.
