Myra Fowler Obituary
Myra passed away at Galloway Health Centre, Oxbow on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at the age of 93.
She was born September 21, 1931 in Carnduff, SK., to Martha and Cephas Spencer.
Myra attended school in Carnduff and enjoyed playing sports.
On January 9, 1953 she married Frank Fowler of Mair, SK. and together raised their children. Myra found joy being a homemaker for her children and later found the time to work at the legion until her retirement. Myra enjoyed playing cards and doing puzzles with her family.
Myra left to mourn her 11 children, Ron (Lori) McPhail, Vickie (Stephen) Keen, Terry (Bonnie) Fowler, Linda Taylor (George), Dennis (Debbie) Fowler, Betty (Perry) Ouellette, Mary-Ann (Ray) Legary, Nancy Carnduff, Allan Fowler (Francine), Myron Fowler (Teresa), and Sherry Bayliss; forty-three grandchildren; ninety-four great-grandchildren; and twelve great-great-grandchildren; In-laws, Doreen Fowler and Jeannine and Alex Eisler.
Myra was the last surviving member of the Cephas and Martha Spencer Family.
A public Come & Go Memorial Reception took place at the St. Andrew's C.E. Hall, Carnduff, SK. on Friday, October 25, 2024.
