Nellie Grieve Obituary
Mrs. Nellie Grieve of Melita passed away at the Melita Health Centre on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at the age of 97.
Nellie is survived by her two daughters, Carolyn (Marvin) Goforth of Pierson, and Lisa (Brian) Crepeele of Melita; four grandchildren: Leah (Scott) Dalziel of Pierson, Blaine Goforth of Melita, Tara (Chris) Elliott of Melita and Braeden (Courtny) Crepeele of Melita; seven great-grandchildren: Johnny, Cody, Ty, Trey, Zoe, Bailey and Parker as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Ethel and Edward Smith; husband, Walter; son, Wallace; brothers: Jack, Walter, Ernie Smith; sisters: Lily Lecore and Edna Moden as well as half siblings, Harold Blackburn and Annie Blackburn; father and mother-in-law, George and Eliza Grieve; sister-in-law, Grace; brothers-in-law: Albert, Edward, Fred, Jack, Ralph and Jim.
A public graveside service to celebrate Nellie's life was held at the Melita Cemetery on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. Lunch followed at the Royal Canadian Legion Lounge in Melita.
