Norma Steeves Obituary
Mrs. Norma Ellen Steeves passed away at her residence, Sunset Haven Carnduff, on Monday, December 18, 2023.
Norma was born to William and Gertrude Rayner on September 18, 1932 in Carievale, SK.
She was predeceased by her husband, Warren; daughter, Patricia Willis; parents, William and Gertrude; brother, George (Jessie); sisters, Mildred, Laura (Don), Marion (Ken), Marjorie (Russel) and Jean (Leonard); father and mother-in-law, Currie and Agnes; sister-in-law, Jean Schnurer.
Norma is survived by her children: Terry (Trevor) Gurnsey, Brad (Debbie) Steeves, Scott (Eva) Steeves and Sheri (Paul) Scarnati; son-in-law, Roger Willis (Sharla); five grandchildren, Alison (Curtis) Schwindt, Christopher (Jordan) Steeves, John (Sam) Steeves, Sarah (Kyle) Taylor and Jacob (Anil) Willis; six great grandchildren, Owen, Austin, Parker, Everly, Nash and Kira; brother-in-law, Bill (Ida) Steeves; sister-in-law, Bev (Larry) Ireland as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
She attended Workman school and then married Warren in 1951. Norma enjoyed selling weekenders clothing, travelling to the US and Alaska, and being part of the Rebekahs.
She found great joy in watching her grandchildren grow, and then becoming a great grandma.
A family service will be held at a later date.
