Philomena "Minnie" Erick passed away at the Lampman Health Centre, with her daughters holding her hand, on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at the age of 87.
Minnie is survived by three daughters, Linda (Ron) Burness, Cindy (Alan) Nay and Penny (Dwayne) Henderson; seven grandchildren, Jeremy (Sarah) Burness, Jonathan (Nadine) Burness, Josh Nay, Jaclyn Nay, Shylee Martel, Taylor (Jana) Baldwin, Jesse Henderson; eight great-granchildren, Keiran, Milla, Kelan, Peyton, Chase, Kade, Terrex and Kason. She is also survived by her sisters, Veronica, Inez, Florence and her triplet sister, Marion; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Vincent and Celestine Erick; sisters, Carrie and Loraine; brothers, Joe, Nick, Matt and triplet brother, James.
The funeral mass was celebrated at Mary, Queen of the Apostles Roman Catholic Church (Maryland) - Steelman, SK. (SE 02-05-05 W2, RM of Browning #34) on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Father Nestor Gregoire as Celebrant. The interment took place at the Alameda Cemetery, Alameda, SK. A lunch followed at the Royal Canadian Legion in Alameda.
