Phyllis Caroline (Cowan) Marr

Mrs. Phyllis Marr of Regina and formerly of Gainsborough passed away at the Pasqua Hospital, Regina on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at the age of 87.

She was predeceased by her husband, Mac; son, Darren; grandson, Dustin; parents, Arthur & Linda (Birch) Cowan; brothers, Theodore Cowan, Orval Cowan, and Cecil Cowan; sisters, Marjorie (Ernie) Dell, Dorothy (Ernie) Huget, and Norma Cowan; brothers-in-law, Art Ward and Don Huebner.

Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Connie (Maurice) Larose of Regina, their children, Brett (Desiree) Larose [Sage, Phearson, Thiess, and Marin], Wendy (Chad) Van Apeldoorn [Jaspen, Taelyn, and Jarek], Ryan (Megan) Larose, Kyle (Jade) Larose [Lucas, Madilyn, and Nolan]; son, Glenn (Rhonda) Marr of Regina their son, Scott (Angel) Marr [Levi, Gia, Ruby, and Cole]; son, Kevin (Dawn) Marr of Victoria (children, Shaun, Jennifer, and Angela); Darren’s children, Amanda (Chad) Reynolds [Jack and Charlie], Alyssa (Tanner) Jorgensen [Mila]; neighbour and good friend, Danny Mains; siblings: Bernice Ward, Iola Huebner, Murvyn (Joan) Cowan, Lyle (Anne) Cowan, Cecilia (Norman) Smith; sisters-in-law, Yvonne Cowan and Priscilla Cowan.

A public graveside service for Phyllis and Mac was held at the Gainsborough Cemetery on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Rob Reed officiating. A time of fellowship and refreshments followed at the Gainsborough Community Hall (lower level).
