With sadness and love, our Mom, Phyllis Anita Ballance (Davidson) passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Brandon, MB.

Anita was born in Russell, MB. on March 9, 1925 to Hazel and Wellie Davidson. She was predeceased by her husband, Dave, her sisters, Enid (Irvine), Gertrude (Joyce) and her brothers, Lorne and Gerald.

Anita is survived by her daughter, Wendy (Farquhar) and her son, Cameron. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, six grandchildren and great grandchildren.  

Mom was a Russell telephone operator, member of the Russell Royal Purple Ladies, a florist and a hairdresser. She moved to Brandon and opened the Brandon Flower Shop and later on worked for Braun and Braun Real Estate. Mom was devoted to her family and friends. She was an avid curler and also enjoyed watching the Blue Jays baseball games and curling on television.

A special thanks to the Hillcrest Place staff as mom was very well cared for by everyone.

Mom, you will be truly missed and loved forever.
