Raylene Armstrong Obituary

Mrs. Raylene Armstrong of Melita passed away at the Deloraine Health Centre on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at the age of 70.

Raylene is survived by daughter, Tracy (Kevin) Vanhove of Medora and their children, Bree Vanhove (Jeremy) (her son, Braxton), Sydney Vanhove and Noah Vanhove (Jessica); daughter, Buffy Barnesky of Melita and her daughter, Ashlyn Barnesky; sister, Linda (Barry) Bloomer; two brothers, Wayne (Fran) Serruys and Garry (Kim) Serruys; brother-in-law, Blaine Stewart; numerous nieces and nephews and their families.

She was predeceased by her husband, Martin Armstrong in 2015; grandchildren, Colby Vanhove and Shayna Barnesky; parents, Andy and Jean Serruys; sisters, Kathy Stewart and Donna (Maurice) Revet; brother, Danny Serruys.

A public graveside service was held at the Melita Cemetery Columbarium on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. A lunch followed at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Melita (lower level).

In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, donations in memory of Raylene may be directed to a charity of one’s choice.
