Richard "Rick" Barker Obituary
Mr. Rick Barker of Melita passed away peacefully at the Virden Health Centre on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at the age of 74.
Rick was predeceased by his wife, Patricia (Anderson) in 2010 and by his parents, Ted and Anne Barker.
He is survived by his daughter, Nicole (Ryan) Tilbury and their children, Kylan (Reid, and children, Quinn and Sloane), Cole (Emma), Alivia and Claire; son, Shawn and his children, Shane and Macey; sister, Kathy McKague and brother, Ted (Teresa) Barker.
In keeping with Rick's wishes a formal funeral service will not be held. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Donations in memory of Rick can be directed to the Canadian Cancer Society, Diabetes Canada, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
