Roger Kent Scott passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 9, 2022 in Calgary, Alberta.
Roger was born on March 26, 1970 at the Oxbow Union Hospital, the third son to Bob and Muriel Scott. He grew up in a yard filled with boys who could spot an adventure a mile away. Roger was a friendly kid who liked to talk to everyone, telling them stories and making friends. He attended school in Glen Ewen, then graduated from Oxbow High School in 1988. After school he joined his brothers in working on the drilling rigs. He met Cindy Taylor on a trip to Jamaica and they were married in 1992. Roger and Cindy lived in Carpio, North Dakota and then her home of Des Moines, Iowa. They divorced and Roger relocated to Calgary where he worked for nearly twenty five years constructing shipping containers and then installing commercial flooring. Roger had his ups and downs, but had a big heart and felt contented with his life, doing his own thing. He will be missed.
Roger will be laid to rest at the Meridian Cemetery, Glen Ewen, SK. on Friday, July 8, 2022 during a private graveside ceremony.
