Ruth Annetts Obituary

Mrs. Ruth Marjorie Annetts of Carnduff and formerly of Alida, passed away at the Galloway Health Centre, Oxbow on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at the age of 91.

She was predeceased by her husband Art; parents, Sam & Edith Jackson; brother, Bob Jackson; sisters, Katherine (Bill) Gloyn and Marion (Dempsey) Laird; daughter-in-law, Rose Annetts and grandson, Karley Young.

Ruth is survived by her nine children: Deborah (Gerry) Desautels, Douglas (Patti), Shelly (George) Martin, Judy (Jeff) Young, Lois (Lloyd) East, Calvin (Donna), Mike (Jicel), Gerald (Michelle), and Russell (Odette); twenty-five grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. 

A public graveside service to celebrate Ruth’s life was held on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Carnduff Cemetery, Carnduff, SK., with Reverend Kathy Kyle officiating. Following the committal a luncheon was held at the St. Andrew’s United Church C.E. Hall.

Donations may be given to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, 2550, 12 Ave, Regina, SK S4P 3X1 or to the Make-A-Wish Canada, 3602 Millar Ave, Saskatoon, SK S7P 0C1
