Sadie Ivy (Kennedy) Reynolds

Mrs. Sadie Reynolds of Gainsborough, SK. passed away at the Galloway Health Centre, Oxbow on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at the age of 97.

Sadie Ivy Reynolds was born July 17, 1926, the fourth child born to William Thomas and Emma (Leist) Kennedy at Antler, Saskatchewan.

She was predeceased by her parents; first husband Gordon Morgan; second husband Lynn Reynolds; sisters Anne Flamme, Ruth Cuti; brothers Ken (OK), Redge, Bill, and Glenn; granddaughter Kiley Carlson; brothers-in-law Jack Stephenson, Garnet Flamme, Bill Kennedy, Cliff Snyder, Tom Brisson, Bill Reynolds, Roy Bateman, Wilmer Morgan and Albert Jaeger; sisters-in-law Lois (Reynolds) Snyder, Dorothy (Morgan) Bateman, Margaret (Morgan) Cox and Violet (Wilmer) Morgan.

She is survived by her children: Ken (Elaine) Morgan; Brenda (Bill) Stevens their children Crystal (Allan) Phillips and Tim (Andrea); Alvin (Tilly) Morgan their children Gordon and Cory (Ashley); Don Morgan and sons Devin (Braede) and Dason (Jo); Shelley (Shane) Boyes and their children Elise (James) Shaw, Jill Carlson, Kris (Erin) Boyes, and Brooke (Mitchell) Morrison; sister Mable Stephenson; brothers Ed (Elaine) Kennedy and Alfred (Joan) Kennedy; sisters-in-law Joyce (Morgan) Jaeger, Olive Kennedy, Mavis (Reynolds) Brisson, and Sam Reynolds; great grandchildren: Edana, Geneva, Vienna, and Mattias Phillips, Morgan, Janelle, Izabela and Aaron Stevens, Ashton, Ivy, Presley and Kane Morgan, Blayke and Brooke Morgan, Kenna-Dee Carlson, Hannah and Benjamin Shaw, Halle and Kaleb Boyes, Clay and Cade Morrison; numerous nieces and nephews.

Sadie was loved by all for her feistiness and refusal to never give up.

A public graveside funeral service (beside late husband, Lynn Reynolds) took place at the Gainsborough Cemetery, Gainsborough, SK. on Monday, September 11, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with Mr. Shane Boyes (son-in-law) officiating. A lunch followed at the Gainsborough Community Hall.

An additional graveside service (beside late husband, Gordon Morgan) was held at the Carman Cemetery, Carman, MB. on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 12 noon (MB. time). A lunch followed at the Breakaway Restaurant.
