Ms. Sharlene Wilson of Wilkie, SK. passed away peacefully at the Battlefords Union Hospital, North Battleford, SK. on Friday, July 31, 2020 at the age of 72.

Sharlene is survived by one son, Shawn (Marnie) Wilson (their children, Tori, Dallas, and Chance); sister, Ardyth Wilson; brother-in-law, Barry (Dory) Wilson; sisters-in-law, Pat Rondeau, and Joyce Wilson; aunt, Elsie Ruttan; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, Ernie and Ruth (Rawlinson) Wilson; sister and brother-in-law, Darlene (Ray) Price; brother, Dwight Wilson; brother-in-law, Lorne Wilson; Shawn's father, Alvin Wilson; first born son, Dallas John.

Sharlene worked as the manager of Sarcan in Estevan for many years until she retired and moved to Leipzig, SK. to help her sister Ardyth with her new business. While living with Ardyth, they started travelling. New Orleans, Louisiana was a favorite destination. There was also a trip that found them near the Atlantic Ocean on one Friday, and by the Pacific Ocean the next! As a family, Sharlene, Ardyth, Shawn, Marnie, Tori, Dallas, and Chance journeyed to Cabo for Christmas. Sharlene, Shawn and Chance ventured to Cuba and Dallas enjoyed a trip to San Francisco with Grandma! The trips with her grandchildren were some of her best. Sharlene lived a full life. She enjoyed reading many books and watching all of the wildlife out her picture window. Sharlene also enjoyed having a drink with all of her friends and family from both north and south of the border.

A public graveside funeral service took place at the Tilston Cemetery, Tilston, MB. on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.
