So sorry to hear of your mom's passing! When I think of the metres of fabric, the miles of thread she used in her quilts, it is phenomenal! She called me up to Reston to help her with her bargello quilt, and I never got back to see how it looked finished. Always was a pleasure to go to the Tilston Craft Shows just to see what those ladies could accomplish in a winter while sitting in the Drop In Centre, crocheting, knitting, drinking coffee, sharing patterns, and yes, visiting! All of this and gardening and canning besides. Lots of concrete memories made for your family to remember her!
