Shirley Slack Obituary
Mrs. Shirley Slack of Melita passed away at the Melita Personal Care Home on Monday, June 6, 2022 at the age of 79.
Shirley is survived by three children: son, Rod (Lori) and their children, Amanda and Justin, son, Todd and his sons, Adrian and Rory, daughter, Saundra and her daughters, Kaitlyn and Tyla; four great-grandchildren; brother, Larry (Audrey) McCrady; brother-in-law, Darwin (Sharon) Slack; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ian in 2005; parents, Edward and Marthe (Anderson) McCrady; brother and sister-in-law, Nick and Ennis Burkart.
A public graveside funeral service for Shirley was held at the Bede Cemetery (north of Melita on Hwy. 83) on Monday, June 13, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Kurt Ardron of Redpath Funeral Home officiating. A time of socializing followed at the Royal Canadian Legion Lounge in Melita.
