Gail and Arnie’s married life began on June 1st, 1957 following his work in the oil & gas industry. The couple moved 34 times from Northern BC to Southern Ontario (Sarnia area) before retiring in Reston in 1993. Gail and Arnie were blessed with 4 children. Gail will be fondly remembered by all her family and friends for her excellent talents in quilting, clothes, and fabulous hardanger embroidery pieces. Mom was an excellent domestic engineer. She was proficient as a hostess, serving meals and baking to all those she knew. Before moving to Reston, she was a secretary and accountant for a Catholic Church and in Regina she was a fashion representative. She also excelled in interior design (lots of practice, lol). She enjoyed her flower beds, yard and relaxing in the gazebo. She will be forever thankful for the fun she had with the Red Hatters (they brought out her wild side). See you in Heaven.
A Celebration of Gail's Life was held at the R.E.S. Centre, Reston, MB. on Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. with Mrs. Joyce Marsh officiating. A Wine & Cheese reception followed.

A Church in My Heart
I have a Church in my heart
And I worship my Lord Jesus there.
I have a Church in my heart
And with Him my troubles I share.
When trials and temptations pursue me
And more grief than I can bear
I go to the Church in my heart
And talk to the Lord in prayer.
I have a Church in my heart
Whose doors are opened wide
Where all my sins are plainly seen
And nothing I can hide.
I have a Church in my heart
That I try to keep clean and bright
Where the Savior is always waiting
To help me make things right.
I have a Church in my heart
Where He waits with love to share
And I know what e’er befalls me
I find Him waiting there.
