Velva Crepeele Obituary

Mrs. Velva Crepeele, formerly of Napinka, passed away at the Melita Personal Care Home, Melita, MB. on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at the age of 83.

Velva is survived by her husband, Russ; six sons: Doug (Sally) (Danielle & Monica), Dale (Lenora) (Kristopher, Kristal, Kendell, Kaylee, & Keshia), Barry (Debbie) (Sheldon & Stephanie), Brian (Lisa) (Braeden), Glenn (Susan) (Brittany, Ryan, & Chantalle), Randy (Terrie) (Amber, Cody, & Brooklyn); 26 great-grandchildren; brother, Ed (Deb) Ratcliffe; and sisters, Marlene Wiseman and Brenda (Jim) Earl.

Velva was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Jessie Ratcliffe; in-laws, Andy and Adrienne Crepeele; sisters, Ruth Armstrong and Ella (Stan) Line; brothers-in-law, Les Armstrong, Bob Wiseman, and Arthur Schoonbaert; and sister-in-law, Madeline Schoonbaert.

A public graveside funeral service for Velva was held at the Napinka Cemetery, Napinka, MB. on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. A time of fellowship followed at the Napinka Drop-In Centre.
