"We are saddened to share the sudden loss of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother.
William (Bill) Hayward passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025 at the age of 69.
Bill was a generous, loving man, well known for his helpful ways and one-of-a-kind storytelling. He was a hockey fanatic, the Boston Bruins have lost their biggest fan.
He leaves to mourn his wife of 50 years Anita, his two daughters Melinda (Carl) and Courtney (Trevor), and the lights of his life, his granddaughters Molly and Rachel, as well as his siblings Rick (deceased), Ruth, Joan, Bev and their families.
As per Bill's wishes, there will be no formal services. We ask that you remember Bill with a smile when you hear his name. Donations in his honour may be made to the charity of your choice.
Our family would like to thank everyone for their calls, hugs, and offers of help. It is truly appreciated.
