Mr. William (Bill) Mayer of Oxbow, SK. passed away at the Galloway Health Centre on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at the age of 83.

Bill is survived by four children: son, Stan (Susan) Mayer of Frobisher and their children, Trista (R.J.) Raynard (Gunner and Brynlee), Brody (Shanise) Mayer (Aurora), and Dustyn Mayer (Christy); son, Brad (Natalie) Mayer of Oxbow and their children, Letticia Mayer (Alex) and Bryson Mayer (Laura); son, Nick (Trina) Mayer of Oxbow and their children, Taylor Mayer (Kianna and their daughter, Olivia), Kristyn Mayer, and Jacob Mayer; daughter, Sheri (Todd) Cooley of Oxbow and their children, Ashlyn Cooley (Gilles), Janissa Cooley (Jaxon), Levi Cooley (Mika), and Rayelle Cooley; sister, Sharon Rae of Estevan; brother and sister-in-law, Willy and Darlene Freitag of Arcola, and Joe Zaba of Regina; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his loving wife, Shirley (Edmunds) of 59 years; parents, George and Annabelle (Oberwise) Mayer; brothers-in-law, Wilbur Lemon and Mervin Rae; sisters-in-law, Grace Lemon and Alice Zaba.

The Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Oxbow, SK. on Monday, March 6, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Father Francis Hengen as Celebrant. A private family interment followed at the Oxbow Cemetery.
