So saddened to hear of Bern's passing. She always had a wonderful smile. I am sure that Bern and my mother/father are having a good chat up above. My mother always enjoyed her visits with Bern.

So sorry to hear of Granny Bern's passing. I recall the many trips your family made to
Russell to visit your favorite Dentist. Your family all had a very Special place in our
hearts. Not to many years ago I was in Brandon at the Walmart store and Granny
spotted me and gave me the greatest hug a little lady could give anyone. How honoured
I felt is hard to explain., To her family my sympathy, may Granny rest in peace.
With loving thoughts, Edna

If a community is lucky they will have a few people who live, support and give a true meaning of caring to each and everyone within that community. Well Pierson and area, Berne was one of those people. She showed us how to support and care for people, how to endure loss and hardships and push past them. We are so happy that we lived in Pierson and could be loved and influenced by this great lady. We are truly sorry for you her family and thank you so much for sharing her with us.

Dear Barry,Boyd, Brad and Barbara and all your families.
It is sad to hear that your Mom has gone but isn't it wonderful that she was so good right to almost the very last. She was a wonderful caring lady, someone I have always enjoyed to visit with, I have known her all my life, from the picnics and church at Eunola, right down to Carievale pie days when she faithfully came to buy pies, particularly saskatoon, for many of her friends. Last summer at Eunola picnic it was great to visit with the three pioneers in their 90's... Bern, Kay and Beth. Rest in peace Bern, you have lived a long and good life.

An amazing lady with a heart of gold and a twinkle in her eyes.
Visiting with her at Christmas she lovingly said to me" Cheryl, you have to keep your faith".I will not forget that, and I know with all my heart that Jesus led her all the way.
