Mrs. Estella Taylor of Carnduff passed away at the Galloway Health Centre, Oxbow on Monday, May 13, 2019 at the age of 91.
Estella was born on February 16, 1928. On November 12, 1945 she married William Taylor and their only child, Robert arrived in June 1949. They farmed until retirement in 2001 when they moved into Carnduff. Estella’s greatest joys came from time spent with her granddaughters and the “Greats.” Estella moved to a suite at Sunset Haven in August of 2018.
Estella is survived by son, Robert (Colleen); two granddaughters, Angela Taylor (Jason Sabados) and their children, Hailey Taylor, Bryce and Branden Sabados, and Cara (Evan) Zacharias and their children Kaiden, Alaina and Briza; sisters, Dorothy, Katherine, and Marion; brothers, John and Gary; brothers and sisters-in-law, Doug Brown, Lorne Savage, Margaret Munro, Carol Munro, and Audrey Sutherby; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, William (of 72 years); parents, Jim and Esther Munro; in-laws, Charles and Edith Taylor; brothers, Henry and Larry; two brothers in infancy; sisters, Ruby, Evelyn and Edith; in-laws, Tom Brown, Frank Smith, John Jones, Ron Elliott, Bob Sutherby and Roy Taylor.
A service will be held at a later date.
