Frances Jane (Belsher) Shattuck

Mrs. Frances Shattuck, formerly of Oxbow, passed away peacefully at the Gainsborough Health Centre on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the age of 101.

Frances is survived by her daughter, DeAnne (Ron) Needham and their children, Donna (Wayne) Nelson, Judith (Wayne) Lillebo, Reg (Michelle) Needham, and JoAnne (Jim) Howard; Gail’s children, Michelle (Barry) Bruce, James (Lisa) Sephton, Pamela (Dean) Lefebvre; step-daughter-in-law, Penny Shattuck and sons, DeWitt (Karen), Markee (Becky) and their children of Portland, Oregon; step-daughter Irene’s children, Gary (Judy), Jim (Diane), Brian (Linda) and their families; siblings, Ursula, Doris, Don, Ken, Marg, Gwen, and Doug; great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband, DeWitt; infant daughter, Donna; daughter, Gail and her husband George, and their infant son Gerald Sephton; step-daughter, Irene Proctor and her husband Arnold, and their daughter Judith; step-son, Allen Shattuck; parents, William and May Belsher; siblings, Nita, Charles, Evelyn, Art, Alice, Hugh, Mervin, and Laurie.

The funeral service for Frances was held at St. Paul's United Church, Oxbow on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Barry Bruce and Rev. Jackie van't Voort officiating. The interment followed at the Oxbow Cemetery.
