so sorry to hear of howards passing..i will always remembering him for his kindess toward all people, his dedication to coaching hockey for myself and countless of other kids...one of those rare people that i have never seen without a smile on his face

My deepest sympathy. I remember Howard coming for coffee at the crazy kanuck when It first opened. He was a man of few words but his smile said it all!!

Sympathies to Dot and family on the passing of Howard. He was a really nice man and will be missed dearly by his family and community. My best memories of ‘Howie’ go way back when we’ were all younger and once in awhile in the winter I would play hockey for Alameda in tournaments... Howard was the coach, he was one cool dude and that’s what I remember most about him, we all thought he was cool... amazing for a bunch of 12 ish year olds, maybe Wayne didn’t think so at the time but I know the rest of us did.... Rest In Peace Howard
