I am the son of helga’s sister Kristjana. I wasn’t aware of Helga‘S passing.
My thoughts and prayers are with my cousins. My brother bill and i used to visit waskada and hartney In the summers along with our mom and dad - to visit mom’s farm sisters. It was magic for us kids to be on real farms.
I remember Aunty Helga’s kindness.

My thoughts are with all my cousins, mom and Uncle Harvey. I have so many wonderful memories of visits and sleepovers at the farm. Especially loved the Sunday night Fried “Chicken” suppers., she was such a magical and awesome cook. Such a kind soul.

Very sorry to hear of Aunty Helga's passing. I have fond memories of visiting aunty Helga, uncle Lloyd and my cousins when I was much younger. We remember getting to know aunty Helga a little better when we were living in Brandon, MB and I was much older. We enjoyed those times with her.
Our sincere condolences to all who will miss her presence,

To all of my cousins I am so sad at the loss of your Mom/Grandma and have been thinking of you all. Auntie was a kind, thoughtful and beautiful soul. I have many memories of having so much fun at your farm. Your mom was an amazing cook and hostess. With so many nieces and nephews she always remembered graduations and sent cards. She will be missed by so many. Love Lisa Hicks (Niece)

My condolences to Helga's family. I remember her from years ago when we all still lived in the Waskada farming district. Always gracious and generous, she epitomized what being a good neighbour means.

This is Harvey, Helga's little brother offering all of her family my sincere condolences this 30th Dec/2019.. I spoke to Helga two weeks ago on the phone- she was happy to hear from me again but sounded very lonely. She had to cope most of her life with depression on and off. I was going to call on Sat. but didn't and then she was gone. I believe she is at peace now awaiting her hope of a future paradise. Love to you all Uncle Harvey and Auntie Carolyn
