Howard Wesley Hannan

Mr. Howard Hannan of Oxbow, SK. passed away at the Galloway Health Centre - Long Term Care, on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the age of 91.

Howard is survived by his sister, Kathleen Marsh; two daughters, Bonnie (Calvin) Morrow and Shirley (Bernie) Huet; five grandchildren, Korey (Melanie) Morrow (Tristen and Cassidy), Jodi (Trent) Mamchur (Mason and Sawyer), Kelly (Sheila) Morrow (Marek), Heather (Robert) Thomas (Mackenzie, Taylor), Dawn (Ben) Kautz (Dustin, Desiree and Jacob); nieces, Audrey (Roger) Le Nouail and Marilyn Larsen; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Vivian; parents, Arnold and Carrie; brother-in-law, Ray Marsh; nephew, Donald Marsh; nephew-in-law, Edwin Larsen.

A private graveside service for Howard will take place at a later date at the Browning Cemetery.

I am no longer trapped

At last I am set free

And God has come for me.

I took the hand that I was dealt

For me, it was whatever God had felt.

I had a good life

And all through the strife,

I cared for my black and white cows

And there was always fixing on the plows.

I was always up with the lark

And worked my land until it was dark.

For others I would always help to feed

Stores are always in great need.

I loved my wonderful cats

Waiting on the step, is where they sat.

And oh, for a strawberry milkshake

And that delicious carrot cake.

I enjoyed my curling, golf and baseball

Even though our team was small.

I loved to go to any dance

Whenever I could get the chance.

An avid Roughrider fan

For all of my life span.

At last I am set FREE

God has not forgotten me.
