We remember fondly so many visits with John at our cabins in the Old Campground at Clear Lake - reminiscing about the love of teaching, the joy of family and the memories of cabin life at Clear Lake over the years. I remember John from when he taught for a short while at Basswood School. He was well liked by the students - this is quite an accomplishment, to be accepted by your students. I hope your memories will give you strength at this time.

My sincerest condolences to Mr. Spak’s family. In 1974 I had John for a grade 9 teacher Geography and home room. John was an excellent teacher who was always interested in his present or past students. I always enjoyed visiting and catching up with him.
