Miles, “Mac”, “Ernie” Greenwood was a central part of our group of teenagers who were coming of age in the 1950’s, in a little town where, “nothing ever happens”. My grandchildren tell me our generation “had it all “and ask what it was like. I tell them to take bits and pieces from three movies. As post-depression children, still dirt poor, “The Grapes of Wrath”. As pre-teen and young teen, “Who has seen the Wind” and as coming of age teenagers, “American Graffiti”. In the end we all went our separate ways into, “The best of times and sometimes the worst of times” but we will never forget the part you played in our lives. Adieu my friend.
